Agra Hosts National Unity Campaign, MSME & Investors Summit and Run for National Unity from 24 October to 1 November 2026

Agra, Uttar Pradesh | 2 November 2026: A Nationwide Vision for National Integration, Youth Empowerment, Entrepreneurship and Atmanirbhar Bharat.

Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and in the spirit of his call for national unity, collective participation and the vision of Viksit Bharat @2047, a series of impactful programmes were successfully organised in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, from 24 October to 1 November 2026, under the banner of the Rashtriya Ekta Abhiyan (National Unity Campaign).

The programmes were organised under the guidance and mentorship of Hon’ble Prof. S. P. Singh Baghel, Union Minister of State, Ministry of Panchayati Raj and Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, with the objective of translating the national vision of unity, economic empowerment and inclusive development into meaningful grassroots initiatives.

The campaign brought together entrepreneurs, MSMEs, investors, financial institutions, public sector undertakings, industry representatives, young people and citizens on a common platform to promote national integration, economic opportunities, entrepreneurship and community participation.

A Vision Inspired by the Leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Hon’ble Home Minister Amit Shah.

The Rashtriya Ekta Abhiyan drew inspiration from the national vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, who has consistently emphasised the importance of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat, youth participation, self-reliance and inclusive economic growth.

The campaign also reflected the commitment of Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah towards strengthening national integration, preserving the spirit of unity in diversity and promoting the ideals of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, whose contribution to the political integration of India remains an enduring inspiration.

The observance of National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) on 31 October provided a special opportunity to reinforce the message that India’s strength lies in its unity, diversity, shared aspirations and collective responsibility.

MSME & Investors Summit: Connecting Local Enterprises with National Opportunities

One of the major highlights of the campaign was the MSME & Investors Summit, conceived as a strategic platform to bridge the gap between local entrepreneurs, manufacturers, traders, investors, banks, PSUs and large industrial organisations.

The central vision was to empower micro, small and medium enterprises by providing them with direct exposure to institutional opportunities, government procurement systems, vendor registration processes, financial assistance, industrial partnerships and emerging business opportunities.

The summit aimed to create awareness about various government initiatives for MSMEs, including entrepreneurship development, access to institutional finance, market linkages, procurement opportunities and the promotion of domestic manufacturing.

By bringing industry representatives and institutional stakeholders together, the initiative sought to encourage local entrepreneurs to expand their businesses, adopt modern technologies, improve product quality, explore new markets and become part of India’s growing industrial and supply-chain ecosystem.

The programme also motivated aspiring entrepreneurs and young professionals to consider entrepreneurship, manufacturing, innovation and self-employment as promising career opportunities.

Youth Empowerment and the Run for National Unity

A major public engagement initiative was the Run for National Unity, organised on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas on 31 October, commemorating the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The run conveyed a powerful message of unity, discipline, fitness, determination, patriotism and collective responsibility.

Young participants were encouraged to understand that nation-building is not limited to government institutions but requires active involvement from every citizen.

The initiative sought to inspire youth to rise above regional, linguistic and social differences and contribute towards a stronger, healthier and more united India.

Through participation in such activities, young people received an opportunity to connect with the ideals of national integration, leadership, teamwork and social responsibility.
